HELLO I’M ALLYSSA,
I work with adults of all ages, with a special passion for supporting women through the many different seasons and challenges of life. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or simply tired of carrying so much on their own. I enjoy helping women navigate anxiety, relationships, life transitions, self-esteem, body image, and the pressures that can come with trying to take care of everyone else while losing sight of themselves. I also specialize in addiction and disordered eating, helping clients better understand the patterns behind their behaviors while developing healthier ways of coping. Another area especially meaningful to me is supporting individuals and families affected by cancer, from diagnosis and treatment through survivorship and the emotional impact cancer can have on the entire family. I also enjoy working with athletes who struggle with anxiety, performance pressure, perfectionism, or confidence. Wherever you are in life, my goal is to help you feel less alone in what you're carrying and more confident in how you move forward.
My style is warm, personable, supportive, and down to earth. I want my office to feel like a place where you can walk in, take a deep breath, curl up on the couch, and know that you don't have to have everything figured out before you start talking. Therapy with me is collaborative; I'll listen and give you space when you need it, but I'll also offer feedback, perspective, and practical tools that you can actually use outside of our sessions. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable being fully yourself and talking openly about the things that may be difficult to say anywhere else.
Outside of work, I'm a mom of two who enjoys spending time with my family, being outdoors, and finding the humor in the everyday chaos of life. I bring that same warmth and realness into the therapy room.
