HI, I’M ASHLEY,

During my time as a peer counselor, I recognized the impactful work a strong therapeutic relationship can make on a person’s progress. I’ve worked in many non-profit organizations, which led me to utilize a person-centered approach to better support children and adults who were often marginalized in silence.

Being part of and working with a diverse community has helped me develop my cultural humility, which I integrate into my work. It has aided in understanding the importance of intersectionality and honoring every part of the person is a healing experience.

As a therapist, I aim to work collaboratively with my clients by creating a safe, inclusive, and judgement free space. I implement interventions from evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic, and MAP in order to help guide my clients to where they want to be. These interventions give the autonomy back to you so you can make the change you want to see in yourself.

Starting therapy is different for everyone. I want you to know that you’re not alone in this journey and that no matter where you are in your life and how you feel about therapy, my goal is to help you get to where you want to be. I hope I am able to take those first steps with you!
