HELLO I’M JOSEPH,

I work with children, adolescents, and adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or difficult emotions. You might find yourself overthinking, feeling stuck, or repeating patterns you want to change but don’t know how. You may also be trying to manage work, school, relationships, or family responsibilities while feeling mentally and emotionally drained. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone. Together, we can make sense of what you’re going through and find ways to move forward.

I take a patient, collaborative, and non-judgmental approach to therapy. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe being yourself, without pressure to have everything figured out. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you while also working toward meaningful change. I use CBT, ACT, and DBT-informed strategies to help you understand your thoughts and emotions and build tools to respond in ways that feel more balanced and manageable. When working with children and adolescents, I focus on helping them understand their emotions, build coping skills, and communicate more effectively, while also supporting parents in reinforcing these skills at home.

Before becoming a therapist, I served in the United States Marine Corps, where I learned how to stay calm and flexible in high-stress situations. I bring that same steady and adaptable presence into therapy, meeting you where you are and supporting you through whatever you’re facing.

It’s a privilege to support you in this process.
