HELLO I’M TIM,
I believe that therapy is a space where you should feel heard, understood, and accepted for who you are. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel difficult, and my goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself and exploring what may be going on in your life.
I enjoy working with both adults and children who may be experiencing anxiety, stress, self-doubt, relationship challenges, life transitions, or difficulties managing emotions. I believe that every person has their own unique experiences, strengths, and ways of coping, so I take a collaborative approach and work with each client to understand what feels most meaningful and helpful to them.
My theoretical approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Experiential Therapy. With CBT, I help clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier ways of thinking and coping. Through Solution-Focused Therapy, I help clients identify their strengths, recognize what is already working, and take meaningful steps toward the changes they want to make. Experiential Therapy allows clients to slow down, connect with their emotions, and explore their experiences in the present moment.
As a therapist, I strive to meet clients where they are and walk alongside them throughout their therapeutic journey. My hope is to help clients develop greater self-awareness, build confidence, strengthen their relationships, and feel more equipped to navigate life’s challenges. You do not have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy—I believe we can work together to better understand where you are and where you would like to go.
