HELLO I’M TROY,
I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and challenges with emotional regulation and relationships. My goal is to create a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace.
My background includes working in a crisis residential setting serving primarily unhoused individuals, which strengthened my ability to remain calm, grounded, and present when life feels overwhelming or unpredictable. During my graduate school practicum, I also worked in a school-based setting supporting elementary school–aged children as they navigated emotions, behavior, and peer relationships both in and outside the classroom.
My approach is relational, strengths-based, and person-centered. I integrate evidence-informed practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma-informed care while keeping the therapeutic relationship at the center of our work together.
When working with children and teens, I focus on helping them understand and express their emotions, build practical coping skills, and develop confidence navigating home, school, and peer relationships. I also collaborate with caregivers so the skills practiced in therapy can translate into meaningful change in everyday life.
I believe therapy offers a space to feel seen and heard, reconnect with your strengths, and create meaningful and lasting change.
