HI, I’M ZAHRA.
Life can feel overwhelming at times, whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, low self-esteem, or simply feeling stuck. Many of my clients come to therapy because they’re tired of overthinking, carrying the weight of everyone else’s expectations, or feeling like they’ve lost sight of themselves. Others are looking to build healthier relationships, set boundaries, improve communication, or better understand their emotions. Whatever brings you to therapy, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy, we’ll work through it together.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and honest. I believe healing comes from feeling genuinely heard while also being challenged in ways that help you grow. I’m a direct therapist, but always with compassion. If I notice patterns that may be keeping you stuck, I’ll gently bring them into the conversation so we can work through them together. When I recognize patterns that are holding you back, I will gently navigate your attention to these patterns. While understanding your past is an important part of the healing process, I also believe therapy should help you move forward. Together, we’ll identify what’s holding you back, build on your strengths, and create realistic goals that help you feel more confident, empowered, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges long after our sessions end.
As an Arab American therapist, I value creating a culturally responsive and inclusive space where clients from all backgrounds feel respected, understood, and supported.
